Experimental determination of the mechanical properties and dynamics of biological tissues. The behavior of bone, tendon, and muscle subjected to torsional, flexural, and axial stresses. Investigation of creep characteristics and microscopic structures of soft connective tissues. Examination of large artery hemodynamics, cell mechanics, and electrophysiology.
