FST 002 - (IS) Food JusticeSemester Hours: 3-4 Periodically
Food activism has grown exponentially in this century and “food justice” has become a rallying cry of many contemporary social movements. At the same time, food systems are everywhere rife with inequities, despite that fact that we live in a world of plenty, and food production is a major contributor to climate change. This course considers food through the lens of food justice.
