BIOL 102 - Ecology and Evolution of Infectious DiseaseSemester Hours: 2 The prevalence and spread of infectious diseases are affected by ecological characteristics and evolutionary histories of pathogen(s), hosts, and vectors. This course is an introduction to organismal, ecological, physiological and evolutionary biology through the study of infectious disease. Recommended for students who need more preparation to succeed in BIOL 112 .
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: MATH 006A or math placement test score of 16 or higher. Not for major or minor credit. May not be taken after successful completion of or concurrently with any higher numbered biology course.
