NUR 134 - Care of Individuals and Communities with Behavioral Health DisordersSemester Hours: 4 This course focuses on the application of the nursing process in the care of psychiatric populations across the lifespan. Students will apply theories and implement evidence-based care for clients with psychiatric/mental health issues, including psychosocial concepts; cultural, ethical, and legal influences; and wellness of individuals and family groups. Development of professional role in psychiatric/mental health nursing.
