EMBA 422 - Financial Strategy and Value Creation Semester Hours: 3
This course examines the practical issues of finance and investment through the lens of value creation and long-term firm performance. Executives apply core financial tools—including time value of money, valuation of bonds and stocks, capital budgeting, cost of capital, capital structure, and dividend policy—to real-world decision-making. The course also addresses risk management and foreign exchange in the context of global financial markets. Executives develop the ability to design and evaluate financial strategies that drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage, while balancing the interests of diverse stakeholders.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Open only to matriculated Zarb School of Business EMBA students.
