EMBA 426 - Economic and Geopolitical Risk Semester Hours: 3
This course examines how global economic and geopolitical forces shape managerial decision-making and corporate strategy. Participants explore how shifts in demand, supply, production, and market structures interact with trade dynamics, fiscal policy, and central bank actions to influence growth, inflation, and employment. Through a combination of economic modeling and real-world case studies, executives learn to interpret macroeconomic indicators, assess geopolitical disruptions, and translate these insights into strategic business decisions. Emphasis is placed on quantitative reasoning, scenario analysis, and risk evaluation in an interconnected global economy.
