CAT 289B - Workshop: Dance Therapy & Gestalt Therapy in the Clinical SettingSemester Hours: 1.5
Dance therapy and gestalt therapy share parallels in theory that inform and illuminate the path toward body-centered integration and the creative process. Through lecture demonstration, readings, experiential activities (movement, music, use of props, role-playing, writing/journaling, meditation and artwork) the students will open to the spontaneous/creative instinct embedded and available in their muscle memories.
