SPCH 272 - Seminar in Medical Speech Pathology Semester Hours: 1 January
This course will familiarize students with terminology, procedures, and
protocols used in medical settings. The role of the speech-language
pathologist when working with medically compromised individuals will be
explored. Topics include: current health care directives, tracheotomy,
medical ventilation, pharmacology, and the continuum of medical care.
