BCHM 71 - Basic Biochemistry

Semester Hours: 2
Fall
Basic principles of biochemistry for physician assistant studies majors. Biochemistry of enzymes, carbohydrate metabolism, protein synthesis. (2 hours lecture.)


Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
One semester of organic chemistry (CHEM 131A). For physician assistant studies students only. May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis. No credit for this course and CHEM 71 or BCHM 162. No credit for a major or minor in chemistry.
