SOC 80 - Statistics in Sociology

Semester Hours: 3
Periodically
Use of basic statistical analyses to examine sociological data. Topics include measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability, inference and hypothesis testing, analysis of variance and correlations. A component on the utilization of the computer for statistical data analysis is included. (3 hours lecture, 1 hour laboratory.)
