SPCH 132 - Disorders of Language in Childhood

Fall, Spring
The course focuses on disruptions in phonology, morphosyntax, semantics, and pragmatics and its impact on child development. Various clinical syndromes and associated developmental patterns are addressed. The effect of language breakdown on literacy achievement, academic performance and social intervention is emphasized.
