RTVF 118 - Screenwriting 1Semester Hours: 3
Fall, Spring
This course will focus on the process and methods of developing a feature-length screenplay. Students will learn how to develop ideas, pitch concepts, and use the elements of story structure, theme, character development and dialogue. Each student will develop a concept, treatment, step outline and first act of an original feature-length screenplay. Upon successful completion of the course students may register for RTVF 119 and complete their feature-length screenplay.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
RTVF 110 and permission of the department. May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis.
