MGT 145 - Purchasing Management

Analysis of the activities and mechanics of purchasing and materials management. Emphasis on buy-make decisions in the private and public sector, single vs. multiple sourcing, competitive bidding vs. negotiations, the logistics of delivery systems, purchasing ethics and vendor relations, international purchasing, ISO 9000 and computerized inventory systems.
