MASS 110 - Media and Urban and Suburban Communication

Semester Hours: 3
Fall
An examination of the relationship between communication media and urban and suburban settings   Analysis of  urban, suburban and exurban communication patterns, contemporary visions of community and the impact of  communication developments. Specific topics include: the social, economic and political effects of media developments on the city; media  coverage and representations of the city and suburbs.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
MASS 1 and 11.
