LAW 2847 - Rights Of LGBT Youth: A Comparative Approach

This course will explore contemporary legal issues pertinent to LGBT youth. Topics will include the efforts of legal systems to address anti-gay harassment and violence in schools; the struggle to include LGBT issues in school curriculum; and the problems experienced by LGBT student organizations. The course will cover the approaches of different U.S. states as well as several European jurisdictions.
