ACCT 250 - Seminar in Advanced Contemporary Accounting Theory Semester Hours: 3 Periodically
Critical examination of current thought in accounting; relationships between accounting and other business areas including economics, law, manufacturing, etc. Ethical, social and political influences on accounting theory and practice are discussed. Required of all M.B.A. candidates in public accounting .
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Completion of all prerequisite and preliminary accounting courses. Open only to matriculated graduate students in the Zarb School of Business and in other Schools at Hofstra where appropriate. See specific program requirements.
