A study of the algorithms and data structures that facilitate the extraction of information about real-world scenes or objects from images. Topics include: image formation, geometric and photometric camera models, noise, feature extraction, camera calibration, multiple-view geometry, 3D shape extraction, object recognition, applications of computer vision.
