CSC 185: Methods of Random Process Semester Hours: 3 Systematic development of the concept of probability and random process theory. Topics include probability and set theory, random variables, density and distribution functions, multivariate distributions, sampling statistics and distributions, central limit theorem, estimation and the philosophy of applied statistics. The material covered is applied to problems in engineering and the physical sciences.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: MATH 072.
