BIO 090A - Introduction to Laboratory ResearchSemester Hours: 3
Fall
The scanning electron microscope as a principle tool for biological data acquisition. Instruction in the use of the scanning electron microscope, as well as project design and project implementation in a faculty member’s ongoing research program. This course may be substituted for BIO 090 if the student plans to participate in two semesters of undergraduate research, i.e., a student may enroll in BIO 090A one semester and BIO 091 or 092 the following semester. (2 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.)
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
BIO 011 , 012 , 013 , 014 and permission of instructors. Lab fee additional.
