GEOG 191 - Seminar: Geographic Methodology

Semester Hours: 3
Periodically
Introduction to geographic research. Sources of material and techniques of geographic analysis. Readings in past and recent geographic literature. A comprehensive examination and the completion of a research report are required. The research report has three components: a proposal which includes an oral presentation to fellow students, a final written report, and an oral presentation of research findings to fellow students and geography faculty.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
GEOG 001  and a minimum of 15 s.h. of completed credits that count toward the major in either Geography  or Global Studies  or by permission of the department chairperson.
