IT 030 - Web Development and Analytics for Business

Fall, Spring
This course is an in-depth study of the Web development process using professional Web-authoring tools. The course covers the concepts, issues and techniques related to designing, developing, and deploying websites for business. Students develop Web-based applications for business using. Software used may include Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks. Further, this course provides an introduction to Web 2.0 and multimedia technologies, object-oriented scripting languages and web analytics used to support business functions. Topics that will be covered include HTML, XHTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Java Script and Action Scripting.
