Semester Hours:3Fall, Spring
ITAL 101-106, an integrated sequence of courses, rather than six individual courses. This sequence gradually develops the student’s proficiency in the spoken language, in writing (including grammar) and in reading. Text material ranges from simple stories to more sophisticated language and includes culture and civilization topics. The individual student’s needs and wishes determine the exact nature of each course. A detailed personal record is maintained to assure the development of each student’s skills.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Successful completion of ITAL 004 or permission. ITAL 101-106 is offered once per semester in a three-year cycle; may be taken in any order.
