This course takes an integrated and strategic focus that builds on the multiple functional areas taught in the EMBA courses that precede EMBA 430A. Students are challenged to understand how decisions and policies from different functional areas are integrated within an organization. Through individual and team assignments, students engage in complex thinking and decision making. An in-depth capstone term project involves student teams in all aspects of short-run and long-run planning as they build a strategic plan for a new hypothetical company. For this assignment, there is a written strategic plan and an oral presentation of that plan.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Open only to matriculated EMBA students. (Formerly EMBA 430.)
