Implementation of computational and quantitative models in finance. Examination of theoretical and practical considerations for financial model building. Application of modeling to corporate finance, investment valuation, derivatives pricing and risk management. Emphasis on the use of data from financial markets, including fundamental and high-frequency data. In depth use of financial information sources and technology as they relate to the modeling applications. Utilization of statistical as well as analytical tools and applied programming using software tools such as MATLAB.
