FIN 402A - Managerial Finance

Course explores the practical issues of finance and investment consistent with value maximization of the firm. Applications of time value of money, bonds, stock valuation, capital budgeting, cost of capital, capital structure and dividend polices are emphasized. The fundamentals of risk management and foreign exchange are covered. The financial decision-making process is developed with emphasis on the role of global financial markets, ethics, and considering the various constituencies of modern corporations. Cases and computer applications are utilized.
