In-depth research focusing on a specialized area of the student’s major. Study
includes conferences with a faculty mentor resulting in a substantive research
paper. To be arranged with the student’s major adviser.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Permission of adviser and graduate program director contingent on approval of
a student’s research proposal.
