MPHY 216 - Radiobiology


Semester Hours: 3
Spring
Basic principles of the biological effects of ionizing radiation on human tissues and tumors, and strategies to optimize therapeutic radiation delivery.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Open only to students enrolled in the MS program in medical physics  or permission of program director. Pre- or corequisite: MPHY 214 . May not be taken on a Pass/Fail basis. (Formerly Radiation Biology for Medical Physicists.)
