SPAN 260 - The Craft of Poetry Writing in Spanish
Semester Hours: 3 s.h
In this course students will study the strategies and resources used for the practice of the prose poem. The final goal is to write high-level personal prose poems. While readings might be in other languages, submission of work will be in Spanish.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Open only to majors in the MFA program in Creative Writing with a concentration in Spanish or permission of the program coordinator for the MFA in Creative Writing, concentration in Spanish. May not be taken on a Pass/Fail basis. May be repeated for credit when topics vary. The maximum credits counted towards the MFA in Creative Writing with concentration in Spanish is 6 semester hours.
