The course provides advanced study on selected topic or emerging issues in information technology. It delivers a variety way of methods, such as lectures, projects and case studies. As individual subjects are selected, each is assigned a letter (A-Z) which is affixed to the course number. Students may take up to six semester hours of IT257 and IT258 to fulfill their major requirements so long as each seminar has a different number-letter designation. Specific titles and course descriptions for special topics courses are available in the online class schedule.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: IT 203 and any additional prerequisites as stated in the course schedule.
