MGT 213 - Total Rewards: Strategy and Design Semester Hours: 3.0
Once a Year
An examination of total compensation and rewards in supporting human resource strategy and competitive performance management. Students will delve into compensation strategy including mechanisms to develop internal consistency and external competitiveness. In addition, students will gain a better understanding of the role of employee benefits in the total rewards strategy including plan design and financing. Emphasis will be placed on different types of programs and the organizational fit to leverage a high potential workforce. Ethical, regulatory and legal considerations will be discussed.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: MGT 207 and MGT 210
