BIO 090 - Independent Study-Undergraduate Research ISemester Hours: 2-4
Fall, Spring
For students beginning an independent research project in biology. Students may choose between a laboratory (BIO 090 and 091 ) or a library research project (BIO 090 and 092 ). Students register for BIO 90 with permission of the instructor not later than the first semester of their senior year. During the first semester, students develop their projects, learn necessary techniques and begin their research. Grade is based on a progress report.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
3.0 or better GPA; BIO 011 , 012 , 013 , 014 , 015 ; and permission of instructor.
