Students earning a badge in data mining in clinical medical physics will be introduced to basic imaging or therapy physics, the principles behind and need for evidence-based medicine, and the informatics behind data storage, database management, and data queries.

MPHY 231 - Fundamentals of Imaging in Medicine II Semester Hours: 2
MPHY 241 - Radiation Therapy Physics II Semester Hours: 2
HIT 214 - Evidence-Based Patient Care Semester Hours: 3
IT 215 - Database Management Systems Semester Hours: 3
The student will choose between MPHY 231 or MPHY 241 to concentrate in imaging or therapy applications.
