The Minor in Cybersecurity Operations offers a robust foundation in cybersecurity, focusing on its practical application to organizational challenges and business needs, distinct from more technical or engineering-oriented programs. This program offers a blend of technical knowledge and practical skills, covering security technologies, enterprise cyber risk, and information systems auditing. Students engage in hands-on projects to apply their knowledge and can further hone their skills in areas of IT forensics, incident analysis or health IT security. This minor provides the essential training and experience needed to transition into the growing field of cybersecurity.
