Data Science Foundation, Certificate

The program offers a Certificate in Data Science Foundation, allowing students to gain specialized knowledge without requiring a prior bachelor’s degree. The program also provides a clear pathway for students with a bachelor’s degree in any field to prepare for master’s-level study in data science. It is ideal for career changers who wish to transition into data science.

Admission Requirements


Current undergraduate students who have yet to earn a bachelor’s degree or individuals with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply.

Required courses (Semester Hours: 22)


Note: Students must pass the math placement test before enrolling in CSC 014  and MATH 071 . If a student does not pass the placement test, they must take MATH 050  along with CSC 014 before enrolling in MATH 071.
