Qualified undergraduate sociology majors and minors may choose to take a dual-degree B.A. in sociology/M.A. in applied social research and public policy. They must be conditionally accepted into the graduate program before being eligible to take up to four graduate-level courses (12 s.h.) from among ASR 201 , 202 , 203 , 204 as part of the undergraduate program. These courses are credited to both the B.A. and the M.A.
Thus, students need to complete a total of 154 s.h.: 112 s.h. of undergraduate course work and 42 s.h. of graduate work. All other undergraduate requirements (distribution, composition, languages) remain the same as those for a B.A. with a major or a minor in Ssciology.
