Mathematics (BA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA), Dual-degree Program

Students must complete a minimum of 155 semester hours: a minimum of 115 semester hours toward their undergraduate degree and a minimum of 40 semester hours of graduate work toward the MBA. A sample schedule for the combined degree is available from either the Mathematics Department or Frank G. Zarb School of Business .
Students admitted to this dual-degree program will receive a BA in mathematics upon completion of the following requirements:
- The complete BA requirements described in the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences section of this Bulletin. In particular, successful completion of a total of 124 semester hours, including at least 115 semester hours of undergraduate course work and at most 9 semester hours of MBA-level graduate course work.
- The specific major requirements described in the BA major in mathematics, as listed below.
