The minor in sustainability studies is meant for students who wish to augment their main degree through a broad exploration of sustainability issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. Students may earn a minor in sustainability studies by completing 18 s.h. of course work, with a grade of C- or above, as defined below. At least 6 s.h. must be in-residence.

Required Courses - Semester Hours: 6

Elective Courses - Semester Hours: 12

Select 12 s.h. of course work from the lists of required and elective courses specified for the BA  or the BS  in Sustainability Studies (excluding SBLY 001  and 002 ). Six of the 12 credits must be earned in SBLY or GEOL electives on the lists. Courses required for a student’s major may not be taken as Sustainability minor electives.
