Program Requirements - Total Semester Hours: 124

This degree is open only to those dual-degree BS/MS in Physician Assistant Studies  who do not transition into the professional phase of the curriculum. Students who complete six semesters of pre-PA phase curriculum may earn a BA in natural sciences if they complete the following requirements:

1. The successful completion of at least 124 hours, including a minimum of 94 s.h. in liberal arts. All University requirements and all requirements for the BA must be successfully completed.
2. Of the required 124 credits, 18 credits must be in the chemistry major; 18 credits must be in the biology major; and 18 credits must be in one other liberal arts major  (e.g. sociology, English, Spanish, history, philosophy, etc.)
