Students earning this badge will achieve competency in basic imaging physics and advanced applications in medical imaging.  Topics covered will include principles of radiography, mammography, fluoroscopy, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, signal processing, image quality metrics, and image reconstruction.   

Badges are not available to students currently enrolled in the Hofstra medical physics graduate program.
