Sustainability Studies, BA Major in

The BA major in sustainability studies focuses on global environmental issues in suburban and urban areas. Specific themes include, but are not limited to: sustainability management and benchmarking, green entrepreneurialism, suburban and urban environments and ecosystems, international development, and community development and planning. Students may develop unique interdisciplinary curricula by selecting electives based on their own interests, in consultation with their sustainability studies adviser.

Program Requirements
- Completion of 33 s.h. of course work; 12 s.h. must be in courses numbered 100 and above. Courses with grades lower than a C- do not count toward the total number of hours required for the sustainability studies major.
- At least 15 s.h. must be completed in-residence.
