GEOL 20 - Introduction to Field Methods

Principles and methods of geological field investigations of sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks. Use and interpreta- tion of topographic maps, aerial photos, geological instruments and the methods and logistics of producing professional geologic maps and reports. (2 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.)
