CT 500 - Practicum in Learning and Teaching Semester Hours: 3 Periodically
Under the supervision of an adviser, participants design a curriculum-inquiry project, implement the project in a PreK-12 classroom or alternative setting, and prepare a final report that summarizes the project’s goals, activities, and outcomes.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Matriculation in the doctoral program in learning and teaching ; successful completion of the doctoral candidacy examination; completion of 30 s.h. of course work including 12 s.h. in the learning and teaching component, 9 s.h. in the research component, and 9 s.h. in the area of specialization. May not be taken on a Pass/Fail basis. (Formerly Internship in Learning and Teaching.)
