BAN 291 - Practicum in Business Operations and Healthcare Analytics Semester Hours: 3 A practicum in business operations and healthcare analytics. In this practicum, learners will be responsible for developing the design for a healthcare operations improvement project at their respective workplaces. They will prepare a report and give an oral presentation on their individual projects. This project should exhibit the learner’s ability to apply the methods and techniques that they have learned in the previous courses in the program.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: MGT 207 - Organizational Behavior and Leadership Skills for Strategic Advantage BAN285 or MGT285, Completion of 21 s.h. of graduate course work in the area of concentration or permission of the department chairperson. Open only to matriculated graduate students in the Frank G. Zarb School of Business and in other Schools at Hofstra where appropriate. See specific program requirements. Same as MGT 291 .
