DPT 519 - Integumentary, Other Systems, and Women’s Health Semester Hours: 2 This course covers examination, evaluation, and interventions of a patient/client with integumentary and other systems (not including musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular and pulmonary systems). This course presents pathology, disease process, clinical presentations, differential diagnosis, examination, assessment, outcome measurement, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and interventions of a patient/client with integumentary and other systems dysfunctions that are commonly seen in physical therapy. The course also focuses on women’s health as it is related to physical therapy.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Prerequisites for this course include all preceding coursework in the curriculum. Any exceptions require approval from the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). May not be taken on a Pass/Fail basis.
