RTVF 167 - Advanced Film ProductionSemester Hours: 3 Fall, Spring
You will join your classmates in forming a studio that will greenlight 2 to 4 short films to be produced during the semester. You will all be encouraged to pitch/write projects and the class (studio) will vote on the films to produce. You will then have the opportunity to pitch yourself to take on a key role (Director, Producer, Cinematographer, Editor, etc.) in producing one of the films. You will be required to be a production crew member on two of the class films (assuming four are produced). Members of the class will fill all key production positions. Equipment is provided, but students will pool their resources to cover the expenses for all other aspects of production.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: RTVF 047 . Admission to class by permission of department. No liberal arts credit. Lab fees additional. May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis.
