HIT 216 - Emerging Technologies in Health Care Semester Hours: 3
Fall, Spring
This course identifies major emerging technologies in health informatics and health care. The course highlights how technological innovations have changed the face of health care and how new technologies with further shape the health care delivery system. Innovations such as Genomic Information Systems and BioRepositories, Robotics, Wearable Technologies, Security Features, and Open Source Health IT Systems will be discussed.
