BIOL 276 - Plant Ecology of Long Island and Adjacent Areas

Lecture and laboratory course that focuses on the ecology of plants in wild (e.g., forests, grasslands, coastal areas) and urban habitats. The laboratory section includes field trips to natural, semi-natural, and managed environments to demonstrate ecological principals. 

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Introductory general biology course sequence which included introductory botany or ecology. May not be taken on a Pass/Fail basis. Lab fee additional. Credit if given for this course or BIO 176 or BIOL 176. (Formerly, BIO 230)
