CT 268 - Supervised Student Teaching Dual Program: Teachers of Non-English Speaking Students Semester Hours: 3
Fall, Spring
Student teaching practice, under close clinical supervision of MSEd WL/ESOL candidates in an early childhood/childhood setting for teaching English as a second language. Admission by interview and application to the Office of Field Placement at least a sememster prior to student teaching. Seminars meet weekly with supervisory personnel from the Teaching, Learning and Technology Department and public school districts to work intensively with specific student problems. Students complete at least 35 days of student teaching at the K-6 level.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: SED 213 or equivalent; SPED 264 ; LYST 213 ; ELED 225 ; and SED 267 . This course is only open to MSEd WL/ESOL candidates.
Corequisite: SED 217A .
Pass/Fail grade only.
