FIN 235 - Financial Econometrics and Data Analysis


Semester Hours: 3


Once a Year

This course will endow students with the financial econometric toolkit to analyze big financial data. Emphasis will be placed on model development, validation and interpretation, in the context of real applications to financial and economic data. Topics will include linear and nonlinear regressions, time-series analysis, and panel data modeling. Statistical software is used extensively both in and out of class.
