CSPM 301 - Research Methods and Design
Semester Hours: 3
This course guides the student in acquiring the skills and knowledge necessary for formulating a clinical research question and a research protocol. Basic research topics will include concepts of measurement, research design, and data analysis. Emphasis will be placed on the development of a feasible research hypothesis or proposal based on an extensive analysis of the available literature. The role of appropriate statistical analysis will be discussed for each proposal/hypothesis, and the student must provide a rationale for the statistical hypothesis chosen.
